I am that crazy person who makes it a point to visit 20 or so sites -- and by that I mean restaurants, food shops, bakeries, gelaterie, ecc.. -- in just 4 days. Every single one of those recommendations came from this app, and every single one of them was a hit. Ive been to Rome many time but never with a resource so incredibly helpful as Katie Parlas Rome. I cant let anyone I know and care about visit the city without it now. It is simply a must.

Katie is fantastic, and her app is the only resource you need when it comes to dining in Rome. We ate at 4 of her recommendations in our 3 days in Rome, and each one proved better than the last. Its still hard to pick a favorite. From the quality of food, to ambiance, to gracious restaurateurs, Rome truly impressed thanks to Katie Parla. The GPS on the app makes it worth it alone... Its great to have your bearings and not rack up roaming charges.

This app is well-designed and very useful. In addition to the fantastic food recommendations (she never steered us wrong… even if it meant keeping a highly curated list), it has a great built-in-map that is great for getting around the labyrinthine streets in the Centro Storico or Trastevere without using international data. Again, food recommendations can do no wrong. Great app, and well worth a purchase for any stay in Rome.

Katie will not waste your time, money or calories with her recommendations! I used her app exclusively during a recent visit to Rome, and I did not have a bad bite. Easy to navigate with useful info at your fingertips even offline. Dont go to Rome without it! While youre at it, check out Katies blog Parla Food for advice when traveling outside of Rome. Her recs for Puglia were spot on as usual!

We used this app on a recent trip to Rome. All of Katies suggestions were right on and fantastic experiences. Like having a local in your pocket. A must for a food lover headed to Rome.

We stayed in the Balduina area and besides the Hilton there were no other restaurants recommendations. This app is great for the touristy areas!!! so disappointed :(

I was a bit let down by this app. While Im sure the recommendations were on-point, most of them were out of our price range. A few more cheaper eats would have been helpful. I didnt use this app like I hoped.

Katies app saved me too many times to mention. Its beautifully designed and its function is superb. The map portion is indispensable! I tried nearly all her favorite spots in the Prati and Vaticano neighborhoods. Brava!! A most though is the caffe Sciascia: caffe for only a euro! Grazie Katie!!

The author is the go-to guide in Rome for many of the best Italian chefs that the States have to offer, such as Mario Batali and Brad Spence. If you want to get inspired by authentic Roman foods and if you dont want to get ripped off by many tourist traps in Rome, use this app. Katie Parla constantly keeps her recommended list updated as many of the good old standbys have turned into tourist traps. The only reason I gave it a four-star is because the app crashes constantly on my iPad Air whenever I tap for more info about food tours. I hope this will be fixed soon.

I had problems moving around the App. Search window would not close so could not view results. Waste of money.

We used this app almost exclusively as we chose where to eat each meal when we were in room. Katie Parlas is a foodies dream. She never let us down with her recommendations. I love that it set up to be used by a tourist and that you dont have to be online to access all reviews and the map. I am so glad I bought this app! I wish she covered more cities!

This app was invaluable during our trip. There are many restaurants and pizza shops to choose from in Rome. With a few clicks, you can easily find a great place quickly and get back to seeing the sites. The fine dining picks are also spot on.

Just returned from Italy and really appreciated having this app in Rome. It is visually very appealing and well designed, but also easy to use. Great value for the price. Especially helpful was the map you could use offline when youre wandering around lost in Rome. It uses your GPS and gets you where youre trying to go. Nice to pull up when youre starving and looking for last minute options nearby, too. There are internet links to other city mini-guides, but hoping for more full apps for future travels!!!

I travel to Rome quite often and am rather well informed as to the restaurant and food scene, always avoiding tourist establishments. In spite of that, I have found Katie Parlas app to be a most valuable resource when in Rome. The app is well designed, easy to use, and provides inside information for those who are searching for the true Roman culinary experience.

I dont know what I would have done without this app. Every restaurant, cafe or gelateria that we tried from Katies app never failed to please. I wish we had more time to visit every place recommended. The one restaurant we tried outside of her recommendations was a flop. When I return, Ill certainly be using this app again!

My girlfriend and I found Katies app on our way to Rome and we wouldnt have enjoyed our trip as much as we did without it. From the finest gelato, to amazing tasting menus, to local Osterias, we ate our way through Rome almost exclusively using this app. We found so many hidden gems along the way including what we felt was some of the best pizza in Rome! Mostly we used the mapping feature that allowed us to find somewhere close by adjusting the distance of our search. But we also used the app to browse restaurants as well. It was such a great tool, a must have for sure! We used it both on the iPad when we were at home base and from our iPhones when we were walking around.

A great tool for finding delicious food while visiting Rome. I particularly like her listing of craft beer pubs in Rome. This a very helpful planning tool. I would recommend her private beer tasting…and am sure her other tours are just as good.

Such a great resource for where to eat and drink in Rome! We also found it useful for navigating - doesnt use data and tells you where you are on the map! Dont hesitate to buy this if youre heading to Rome!

Next best thing to actually having Katie with you. Highly recommended!
